"Excellent food and great service. The mini t bone and oxtail croquettas were especially good, as were the artichokes."

"This restaurant in Barcelona greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality. They went out of their way to prepare a vegetarian paella, which was both thoughtful and delicious. The highlight, however, was the cap i pota stew: rich, flavourful, and truly unforgettable—we savoured it down to the last drop. A place we would happily return to without hesitation."

"We absolutely loved this place. It serves old-school, classic Catalan cuisine, exceptionally well prepared. The artichoke appetizer was, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. The sonso (fried fish) was a delicious, nostalgic classic, and the bouillabaisse was rich and flavorful. The mini chuletón was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The wine list is very reasonably priced, with a great selection available by the glass. We had a fantastic experience and are sure you will too!"

"Attended this 100yr old restaurant in the Gothic Quarter, that had really good food. The only thing that could be criticized was that the food didn't have any fancy presentation, and that the servers were not relatable at all, didn't interact with us and seemed they were just doing their jobs. Forgot to take a pic of the lamb chomps, just grilled and simply plated with roasted potatoes, but good nonetheless. I'm a frog legs addict and will always order wherever they offer them, just grilled with garlic, yummy. The confit artichokes with jamon iberico was outstanding. Desserts didn't disappoint with a deconstructed cheesecake with berries, and a flaky mil hojas pastry."

"Amazing traditional Catalan food. The best restaurant during our 4 days in Barcelona. The wild pig dish was to die for."

"Really good food at a reasonable price. Their menu of the day offers excellent choices and a glass of wine. We ordered chickpeas with squid and moroccan tumbet as the first course, grilled pork and sauteed calamari with caramelized onions as the second. Overall, a nice experience."

"This place has it all, excellent food with traditional catalan recipes but also fusion dishes, the service is outstanding, very polished but friendly, and the atmosphere is truly unique. Ask the staff to tell you the lovely history behind the many valuable paintings that adorn every wall of this jewel of a restaurant. It will be like taking a trip back in the past, while you enjoy your delicious food. Reservations are highly recommended. Our compliments to the staff Sergio, Diego y Jose, great guys and great ambassadors to this restaurant."

"During our stay in Barcelona, we had an unforgettable culinary experience! This restaurant perfectly blends authenticity with romance in a charming and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home thanks to the warm and friendly service, with staff who smiled and paid attention to every little detail. The food was exceptional—carefully prepared dishes presented beautifully, with flavors that captivated us from the first bite. The wine they recommended was outstanding and paired perfectly with the dishes. The prices were surprisingly affordable, offering great value for such a premium dining experience. This is undoubtedly a must-visit restaurant in Barcelona, whether you’re looking for a romantic evening or a delightful family meal. Simply a perfect experience!"
